Covid-19 has necessitated many changes to all our lives and Trutone has adapted to maintain the integrity and safety of the teaching environment with as little disruption to service as possible.

Health & Safety Provisions and Changes to Service

The teaching room is kept well ventilated.

Instrument sharing is not allowed and cross contamination safeguards are in place.

All surfaces, such as work tables and music stands are regularly sanitised, including between lessons.

Hand sanitiser is available as standard.

Lessons are scheduled to minimise traffic and reduce the risk of household crossover. Parental observation has always been welcome but, in line with this measure, is currently arranged by appointment.

Students are not required to wear masks. The nature of flute playing makes this impossible.

Linda is double vaccinated and takes regular rapid lateral flow tests.

In the event that a student tests Covid+ it is important that they advise ASAP so that any necessary steps can be taken by Trutone, such as personal testing and contacting other students who may have been exposed.

When self isolation forces a student to miss their lesson no financial loss will be incurred. If the student feels well enough, they may continue with their lesson digitally or choose to wait until they are able to return for face to face learning.

Student health and safety is of paramount importance to Trutone. If you have any questions or concerns please use the contact form or direct email/telephone number to get in touch.
